How to Get Your Real Estate Salesperson License in Arizona

STEP 2 - KNOW THESE:

STEP 1 - DECIDE TO BECOME A REAL ESTATE AGENT

STEP 5 - SOLO AGENT or TEAM AGENT?

STEP 7 - LEARN TO BE AN AGENT


- Learn the paperwork, contract and documents needed to sale & list a house

- Go to trainings, seminars and classes 

- Practice presentation for buyer & sellers

- Show up to the office

- Get coaching to improve

STEP 6 - INTERVIEW and PICK A COMPANY (BROKERAGE) TO WORK AT


Choose between: 

100% COMMISSION - such as Homesmart, West USA, MY HOME GROUP, REALTY ONE GROUP

or

SPLIT COMMISSION - CENTURY 21, REMAX, EXP

STEP 3 - GET YOUR REAL ESTATE LICENSE


Step a: Meet the general Arizona real estate license requirements as outlined on the Arizona Department of Real Estate Website.

Be at least 18 years of age when applying for a license.
The Department CANNOT issue a license to a person convicted of a felony who is incarcerated, paroled or under community supervision or on probation. The Department may not issue a license to a person who has been convicted of a felony, or convicted of a misdemeanor offense, such as (but not limited to) theft, forgery, extortion, conspiracy to defraud, violence against another person, or crimes of moral turpitude.

Step b: Complete the approved 90 hours of pre-licensing education.

- attend online courses or in person courses

Step c: Pass the school exam.

Step d: Get a Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Step e: Schedule your State License Exam and pass with a 75%.

Step f: Complete the 6-hour Introduction to Contract Writing Course.

Step g: Submit your Application.
